Facebook is a Garbage Dump

in #facebook7 years ago (edited)

Facebook is becoming the Craig's List of social media.

CraigsList.com was once a good site for posting items for sale and buying items, but now it's become a garbage dump full of scammers. And Facebook is becoming the same way: a garbage dump of scammers and stupid stories.

Facebook, a never-ending news feed of selfies of duck-lipped-girls-posing in front of the NYC skyline/Empire State Building/Brooklyn Bridge/recent concert/party/girls night out/etc/etc/etc

Scammers joining at a tremendous rate, people with one friend, messaging you "hello"

Mainstream news propaganda

Their useless and stupid "marketplace" page

Facebook is becoming the Craig's List (garbage dump) of social media.

Time to exploit Facebook and get some use out of it, by funneling all your "friends" to your website, getting their emails, and, eventually, getting them to buy your affiliate product so you can make some money.

good uses for Facebook

  1. Digital storage. Upload files. Save as private.
  2. Manipulate people. Post fake pictures, Tag yourself in them. Make your life seem more spectacular than it already is. Your superficial friends are likely to "like" the fake post. LOL.

Thanks Michael! It's such a trash heap. If you have some useful ideas for FB, please share! :D

I am starting to spend more time on here than FB lately.

Me, too. Facebook is a bunch of people spending a lot of time on a site that is just making other people rich.

I work in digital marketing and often explain that the product of facebook is its users.

Cut the umbilical cord. Delete Facebook.

Thanks Kaneifer! Cool name. I will check out your post! :)
