There are rumors that Facebook is working with or planning to buy coinbase. Coinbase has not confirmed the news nor they have denied.
In January Facebook banned ads related to crypto to protect users from fraud projects, but recently they lifted their ban which shows firms recognition towards bitcon and other cryptocurrency.
In a post Mark Zuckerberg showed his interest in cryptocurrency and discussed the potential of centralisation and decentralisation. At the same time Facebook has denied to comment on the rumours of working or acquiring coinbase.
I think this can be huge and it will be biggest mass adoption till now. Coinbase has around 10 million users and Facebook has around 2 billion users, this will help to spread awareness among people at the same time can develop interest in other cryptocurrencies.
Crypto market needs fresh money, only than we can see a surge in price of bitcoin.

@godlike.ftw if they will buy coinbase then that will a great news in crypto market. But i think facebook is just try to manipulate the crypto market as they also reversed the ads banning. But anyway this will surely help us.
