As of today, according to http://business.financialpost.com/technology/u-s-ftc-investigating-facebooks-privacy-practices, Facebook has lost a 70+ billion dollars in market share because of a data breach. Due to this data breach, users are leaving facebook and the #deleteFacebook hashtag has been a hot topic, as well, advertisers are leaving and people are selling off their stocks in the company. I'm sure this is the beginning of the end for the Social Media giant, even those they will still probably be around for years, they will decrease in users phenomenally. Looking at the atmosphere, the condition and the new tech emerging, I am willing to bet that this will be the eventual outcome of all major central social media networks. This was inevitable, as all centralize power structures eventually fall. Looking at facebook's recent position on crypto currencies, they may pushed out the only savior to their crisis.
