Back to a Landpirates blog in the most facist country in Europe! Still in Spain.. Heading to Norway
I'm still in Spain, I wanted to go a while back and get out of here and the last chance I had was last Monday but that wasn't enough room in the car. I contacted a friend and she has a friend who has a small Squat and this was my room for a night which was really nice. (I'll be back there tonight I guess)

It's an old Italian restaurant and they are occupying it September. It's a very nice place, but without water and luckily there is a street light on the house wall and so they drilled through the wall and have connected the house electric up to the street light for free electric. But this means they only have electric in the night time when the street light is on, and this has made them have a nocturnal sleeping pattern.

They will be getting evicted soon but the bank owns the building and actually the part of the building where they live in is illegal and wasn't even know to exist as its a floor level that is kind of hidden. Anyway it was being used by the Italian mafia so when they get evicted the bank has offered to pay them two or three thousand euros to leave to make the process easier, instead of going through courts and paying many thousands for the process.
I stayed one night and the next night I went out with my Granada friend and one of her mates wanted to meet and I ended up going home with her has she invited me to stay there instead of at the squat.
I stayed there a couple of nights, but sadly she was not on the same page as I am with the virus bullshit, and when we went out to do some shopping and to go to a Btc atm to get cash, she told me twice to put a mask on and kept coming out with total sheep talk including that there is no fascism happening in Spain - and just to do as people tell me to and conform. Fuck that..

I'm sticking around until after Tuesday, because on Tuesday I go and get my ganja permit, aka a 'Fuck you letter' from a legendry doctor. I had to go and sell some Bitcoin because I needed the money, but to be honest we have a permit to grow and smoke is priceless so I'm not bothered actually.
Last night I slept in a Plaza in Albycin after getting back from the shopping center I left the girls place. It was great to sleep outside again, I dislike houses. This morning I sat on the Gran Via which is the biggest street in Granada with a dog bowl out in front of me.

In 3 hours one person gave me one euro. That's insane.
Here in Spain it is mandatory mask wearing even when you can keep social distancing. If your country is not yet like Spain and you think that things will go back to being how they were before, then to be honest I feel very very sorry for you.
A few things show me how little hope there is that this won't all end in a total milertary martial law and a regime replicating the one in China.
* People are told to wear a mask and threatened with a 100 euro fine, and they do it.
They continue to do it even though the rules set in place are that if you are sitting down at a bar or restaurant then you can't catch the virus obviously because you don't need a mask.. (well if this was all real, and a virus has caused a pandemic, would that even make sense?) People are walking on the pathways through people sitting at tables with no masks on, and no one says a fucking word..
* There are Road markings PAINTED
.. on the pavements and even in shopping centers on the floor, which means this won't end soon, and in matter of fact the people will get used to seeing these markings in a subconscious preperation for more franco fascism to come.
A Shopping center

Streets.. - at one time in recent history it only ever said "Look Right" or "Look Left"

A sign at a restaurant..

This picture above the paper signs say 'Entrance' and 'Exit'.. Its all a big joke and if you can't see it, then you need to slap yourself across the face 🤣
* The older Generations actually like Franco.
An old guy who we were chatting to a
couple of days back who came to ponse a cigarette, said that Franco was a good man because everybody had a job when he was in Power. How insane is that! Fascism must just be in the blood of the Spain and its normal.
Today a Morrican man stopped to talk with me and the first thing he said was "That the life man" whilst I was sat on the floor, and I repleud "it was the life but for not much longer" and he replied "It's the new Franco".
* The washing of hands and the covering of the mouth.
Yesterday I was explaining to the Spanish girl the psychological warfare tactics being used on the people. I told her that the washing of hands is representing the cleaning of an old routine, belief system of religion. she even told me something quite interesting. he said that there is a very very well used expression in Spain and we have it in English as well - "To wash your hands of it" - meaning that once you washed your hands it's nothing to do with you anymore.
The covering of the mouth symbolizes that you're not willing to say anything or to question anything, and that your voice is stamped out.
I just went to go to the coffeeshop but its closed for some unknown reason! I was only really going there to hide from the heat and get some hash, but instead I had to get some water from a shop which means I just had to put a mask on. I need a black marker to make it more visable..

Now I am sat outside a shop. Normally I don't buy water from shops because Spain has drinking water in public spaces. The problem is that it is literally smelling and tasting of swimming pool water. My mate said that a month into lockdown, the chlorine and god knows whatever else in the water had become much stronger which means that its very unhealthy for people to drink it.

Now they start the bleaching down outside the shop

I need to go look for rides!
Theres a huge distance to go, and I think im best off going to the east coast to have a go at getting more rides up north and preferably
with people that are questioning thing and not complying with the fascism.

Before I left..
I just met an old guy called Abby and we sat and smoked a joint on the street. It's nice to meet other people on the street and see a face instead of a set of eyes. I went earlier to see if the coffeeshop was open and it wasn't, but I checked again and they were just opening up with a que waiting outside 🤣

I'm smoking Tangerine hash and got a gram bud of Nebula.

Have a Great Day, I'm baked already!
They have those arrows on the floors everywhere here to but nobody pays any heed to them, I think it'd take way to many employees in large retailers to have them at the end of each row making sure people went the right way so they just forgot about it. Who looks down when shopping anyway except to look at stuff on the lower shelves. Plus someone lost their mind thinking that idea up, you know how many times you forgot something in another row and have to go back...really like people are going to walk all that extra distance to grab something they forgot by following arrows.
Don't miss the chance to use the mask as a canvas while you are in supermarkets etc!
A perfect advertising-social message board at eye level!
You could write something classic like 'Buy Bitcoin' or a variation like 'Buy Monero/Crypto'.
Of course you could also use the mask area to promote your blog here on Hive!
A local band gave a concert at a tavern near the beach . About 100 people showed up , dancing having fun . No masks or what ever . A police car stopped only to enjoy the music for a moment . In Mani people know how to live the good life :-)

Yep this virus thing is complete crap, and having a mask on you can get hypoxia from breathing in our waste air the body is expelling when breathing out.
Good luck for finding a ride out of Spain!
Fortunately here in Montenegro it's not that bad at the moment, the people here are quite relaxed. But they are starting the "second wave" here as well. Some cities are under lockdown already and it's kind of in the air that they maybe close the borders again.
