India Police - You should respect them.

Why should you respect Indian police ? It's simple they are the people who work 24*7 to keep your city safe and clean .I suppose that you are asking, because you think of Indian police as overweight, bribe taking ,pan chewing men who can't even do anything and can't even run a few meters to catch criminals and don't have advanced weapons.I have seen dedicated constables and officers at their duty yes, they can and are grumpy and frustrated due to their workload and because of the fact that that they have to deal with “the scum of the society” and people barley acknowledge their work and have created a negative mental image about them

Think again , in the list of top 10 corrupt police forces in the world Indian police is not there while advanced police forces like that of Mexico are labelled between 5–6 for facilitating drug trafficking across the border . “Remember the actions of the few cannot justify the image and status of the many” ,and a simple advice to you my friend is stop watching too much Bollywood and the next you see a policeman remember to smile. For it is that smile that makes a difference.

• They are given the wrong image. The media is in the number one slot for giving police officers the wrong image. All the media ever does is talk about the mistakes police officers make. They're human too. Everyone makes mistakes. Even the media does. Why don't they ever report about that?

• Marriages are hard for them. Most married police officers' marriages don't make it. This happens almost everyday. Police officers put their marriages on the line to do their job so we can be safe.

• *They deal with the dirty work. How many times have you had to deal with a drug addict or a rapist? How many times have you showed up on a call where a child has been beaten? Exactly. Officers deal with cases like this several times. A lot of times, the dirtiest work is the hardest work*
