I let someone use a server of mine free of charge, they had full control. May I publically disclose the data (for example mail logs) stored on the server?

Yes probably. It is your server. If they used it for free it’s your right to disclose whatever information you want. It would be different if they paid you for something or had some prior agreement with you.
