It's great to know that India is very rich in some cultural practices dating back to antiquity.... That's also common with some African countries here especially Nigeria.
Culture is life and cannot be thus separated.... I weep when I see religion sweeping away our cultural heritage to oblivion.
Love to be there someday to have a first sight experience with this festival.
