Oh my gosh, @gmuxx! I'm so glad they were able to figure out right away what was going on and determine the treatment. It seems like things like what he experienced can often be head-scratching mysteries and really difficult to figure out. What a trying day! I'm glad your son has good care. And I was really moved and saddened to hear about your sister, and that what happened to her was completely preventable.

Thank you for your words. I'm understandably still bitter about my sister. Her daughters are set up for life, but that's little consolation for them.
