The quantity and quality of uncleanliness and lawlessness of the upstairs family room is unprecedented. To my great disappointment I aversely purged the room of disarray out of necessity. I understand your hedonistic and egocentric tendencies as you are so young and yet to understand the ramifications of responsibility. Understandably so, from my position as the soul patriarch of this home I accept the responsibility of the Great Mess of 2016. The rules that have been broken have surpassed the need for retribution and have revealed a breakdown in our family values. Above, below and beyond the surface of debris the monstrosity of the problem became more salient as I cleaned. The child-parent interpersonal trust relation had been broken. Your unsupervised play has left a wake of destruction in the eye of decorum. However as I am a cheerful and forgiving Father and have come to realize the integral totality of this problem, I propose a solution that is amicable to all. The allotments of unsupervised play as well as my own couch potatoeing will be greatly diminished. Trust that this change in policy will be met with good spirit. The quality of our engagements will have greater entertainment value than can be had with video media. In conclusion this policy will further cultivate and curate the enlightened values and morals our family deems desirable, and less so the corporatist consumeristic values of our American culture.
