Beneath The Umbrella
Voiceless and helpless, soaked from the rain,
Stolen and homeless and trafficked away
Shattered and spattered and tattered as prey.
When gone is ignorance and blind apathy.
To end child theft and punish the crime,
But action speaks stronger than couplets of rhyme.
My umbrella will shelter, from storm clouds of rain
Hold on to my arms, it's ok to cry
This umbrella will keep us shielded and dry.
I'll carry you through, in tragedy bleak
And dreams once more, will frolic. You'll see,
Beneath an umbrella, protected and free.
Child trafficking brings in countless cash for the racketeers of corrupt government. Money means more than human life, as it generates more profit than illegal drugs and guns combined. Yet, little ones are unprotected and voicelessly helpless in a system of corruption. Broken homes and shattered innocence speak in droplets of pain.
Will someone please turn off the child trafficking money faucet. It is flooding the lives of families in a downpour of pain.
Countless, articles have been published on the trafficking of children, yet the business of kidnapping and selling children thrives, compliments of the CPS and their allies. It is up to us to be the voice of the innocent and the umbrella of protection.
The young faces of tomorrow need shelter from the storm. Apathy and ignorance allows the downpour of misery to drench and destroy these little ones. Will you be their umbrella of protection? Will you make it safe for them to live and grow? Without our help, these children may never feel the rainbow of being free.
