Withered Lives, Wasted Moments

Here I sit at half past two
Wondering what the hell to do.
Children taken, stolen away
Voiceless babies stalked as prey.
Broken families, nightmares haunt
Tearful eyes that cry in want
Crippled lives that spiral down
Enslaved in fears and terror, drown.

Here I sit at half past eight
Wondering what will be their fate?
The baby snatching CPS
Kidnaps kids and leaves distress.
The courts and lawyers, all compromised
As crafty schemes lay in disguise.
A case is closed, a life to end
A mom and child that find no friend.

Here I stand, it's after nine
Excuses pour the same old line.
Why must apathy grow wild
When there's no protection for the child?
Shuffled, homeless, or on the run
Their little lives are now undone.
Trafficked, prisoned, risking death
O where is safe protection's breath?

Here I pray, with pen I write.
The clock approaching near midnight.
Baggaged pain upon each face
These stolen lives, will us, replace.
As the minutes disappear
Can't we see, oh will we hear?
The clock? Their voice? The hell they pay
As withered lives waste away.

How quickly we shatter innocence for our profit and gain.

As I write this post, children are being ripped from their mother's arms and are being trafficked by the CPS and other for profit agencies. Little ones are being placed in harms way. Shuffled through homes of strangers, they encounter abuse and neglect. Many end up on the streets, in prison... or dead.

And it is our apathy, ignorance and selfishness that allows this corruption to thrive.

These babies become a mere shell of what they once were. Dreams and ambitions are forfeited and fear sets in. We see a death like zombie in the faces of tomorrow. The little faces are the adults of tomorrow, soon to replace us.... that is if they see tomorrow.

And the moments wither away as time and lives are waisted.

We can reverse the inevitable of a crippled generation and people... if we really want to. We do not need to hear the midnight hour of horror. But it will take forsaking apathy, greed and selfishness, and embracing a zero tolerance, non-compliance to racketeering child traffickers and the CPS.

Are you up for that? Do you want to protect families and children.. and the future of our world? Or do you want to see more waisted lives, fearful eyes and shells of zombie youth merely existing. The choice is yours... but remember... The clock is ticking... and lives are withering and wasting.
