With all of the political posturing over the rights of illegal immigrants trying to sneak other people's children into the country, nobody is speaking out about children getting snatched from loving homes in the good old US of A. CPS is still up to their chicanery, lying, falsifying evidence and using the court system to destroy families... of course there's no political capital to be gained from supporting American families. This is the story of a single father in Mississippi whose daughter was kidnapped from her school because her father wouldn't kneel for a warrantless search of his home. "Americans are in an uproar about illegal immigrant parents and children separated at the border. The level of hysteria surrounding this topic has reached a fever pitch with senators like Chuck Schumer mugging distraught for the cameras at every opportunity. While the shrill voices shriek loudly about the rights of Mexicans and other assorted border jumpers, American parental rights are being stripped from them, unconstitutionally, every single day."
"American parents have lost their due process and Fourth Amendment rights, and most of them don't even know it. Most anyone who has been visited by Child Protective Services can testify to the absolute terror that the state can inflict on a family for very little or no reason at all."
Michael Chambers is a single father in Mississippi, who after the mother abandoned their daughter to the care of her parents, fought for custody and won. This touched off an endless string of unwarranted attacks by a vindictive mother whose favorite tactic was to call CPS over imaginary abuses. The social services were well aware in the county where Michael lived and paid no heed to the calls. However, when he moved to a different county, the calls began again and that's when Michael's nightmare began.
Michael began to be constantly harassed by a social worker named Kyra Reed. "His nightmare began when a Mississippi social worker, Kyra Reed (who also goes by Kyra Carson), knocked on his door demanding entrance without a warrant. Chambers was never told what the charges were. "She didn't tell me what I was accused of and demanded to interview my 6-year-old daughter without my presence," Chambers told PJMedia. "I told her that was unacceptable, but she was more than welcome to talk to her with me there without me interfering. She seemed perturbed, but accepted that. She then told me she wanted to search my house," said Chambers. "I told her I had no problem with that, but wanted her to get a court order or a warrant as I am a bit of a constitutionalist and would just feel better having that respected. She was immediately angry. She hopped in her car without another word and drove off."
After dropping his daughter Belle off at school, Michael went to the CPS office and talked to a supervisor informing her that he had no problem with them coming to his home and interviewing his daughter as long as he was present and they had a court order or warrant- which is completely within his Constitutional rights. But that's not what happened. Ms Reed returned and demanded entrance from Michael's landlord who told her to come back... which she did. The next time she came back, she has two sheriff's deputies and once again demanded entrance. Michael again asserted his Constitutional rights. She then informed him that if he made her get a warrant, she would take his daughter.
"She returned with another sheriff's deputy," said Chambers. "I answered the door thinking that surely she would have [the warrant] this time and hopefully, we could just get this done and over with. I was instead handed a subpoena to appear in court in the morning and was told that they had taken my child from school." No warrant was ever obtained. This is how the system works... if you're not an illegal alien, you don't have any rights. Now Michael is allowed 30 minute supervised visits, one of which he secretly recorded where his daughter told him of abuse at the hands of CPS. Michael then informed CPS but they refused to tell him whether or not they would investigate.
The reason you won't hear any hue and cry from the Democrats is because this is a part of the Adoption and Safe Families Act, signed by Bill Clinton in 1997. " Passed in 1997, one year after the welfare law, it had exactly the same target. ASFA was about demonizing impoverished women, especially women of color, and taking away their children."
This law is so bad that even the far-left cranks have to admit it. According to Richard Wexler ofDaily Kos,

ASFA effectively turned the child welfare system into the ultimate middle-class entitlement: Step right up and take a poor person’s child for your very own.
And when the army of childless yuppies didn’t show up to adopt in anywhere near the numbers predicted, ASFA created a generation of “legal orphans” with no ties to birth parents and no adoptive homes either — probably at least 100,000 more such “legal orphans” than had ASFA not become law.
Michael Chambers' crime is being poor. He works four jobs to take care of the daughter he loves so much... she is his life. But in the scramble for federal funds a father's love doesn't even come close to trumping the greed of the state. If President Trump was serious about ending child trafficking and restoring America to our former greatness, he must first restore America's families... but I don't see that happening. The State of Mississippi has predictably resorted to lies and fabricated claims to keep Michael and his daughter apart- even to claiming that Michael showed up at school creating a disturbance by shouting "I love Hitler." Of course there are no records anywhere to substantiate the claim. As long as the US Government remains the biggest child trafficking organization in the world, it's unlikely that anything will ever be done.

Exactly what I've been saying! The level of hypocrisy is outstanding. Suddenly we're supposed to believe they care about families because it involves migrants, when CPS has been and is still doing the same thing for years now.

Where's the outrage? Where's the headlines? We get so caught up in our own lives and only pay attention to sensational political theater that we miss the atrocities that are happening under our very noses.

According to the PJ Media story he didn't have legal custody of his daughter, he just took custody of her but never served the mother with papers. The story also highlights the fact that disputes between many single parents, personal disputes often result in one parent harassing the other through any means possible. Since this is a one sided story where the custody of the child was returned to the mother who lives in another state there's no clear indication other than his word that he didn't originally kidnap the child from her mother also. It's not uncommon from state to state or county to county for regulations to vary as to whom should have custody, one of the reason's many states prohibit parents from taking children out of the state or even county in which they live, without legal paperwork defining who has legal custody some states/counties will not intervene in these disputes. I feel bad that he lost custody of his daughter but I would also feel really bad if I found out down the line that he took the child from the mother. Sad situation for everyone concerned, especially the daughter.
