Yeah, the pacing and looking out the window stuff, not a good feeling.
Continuing to pray your case becomes a complete bust and you don't hear from them again.
We kind of heard from the detective in a round about way yesterday. Jared had his P.O. appointment, and the PO told Jared that the detective had talked to him and was concerned about Jared showing signs of addictive behavior again, and doesn't want him to fall into the extreme addictions he once had. Jared told him that he felt kind of betrayed by her, because when she first came, she seemed like she sincerely wanted to help us, then she turns around and slaps these charges on us, and seems colder now. The PO told him it's a defense mechanism, and he does the same thing when he hands a person their revocation papers.
As for telling my mom any more family details, she's completely cut off. I haven't spoken to her since this started, and I don't intend to speak to her again. Sounds harsh, but that's my defense mechanism lol. Thank you for your comment! :)
