It was an ordinary day, enjoying the usual musings of the outside world through the great Temple of Medivation of the Cave of Balthazar. A stony, magical air blows through the Temple's entrance and deathly fog and mist flows out from the cave itself. A pair of Templars are seen roaming in and out the area, guarding a giant, large double door. A single blue and golden scroll with a golden P is hanged on the outer wall, signifying the entrance to the Library. Inside the temple, wisps and ghosts of all types roam freely, although they seem to avoid the center of the statue itself, as if in fear or suspicion.
The two guards at the door are not ordinary. They are currently guards of their own houses. One is Helen, an Awen of the House of Dawn, the other is Mara, a male Awen of the House of Winter. And in the stone temple, knowing what are about to happen, they met. They stood side by side, conversing with words of comfort they have for one another.
Helen: "I am not as good at speaking to spirits as I once liked to be. Once when I was a girl, a town was under attack. I had filled up long, but no one in town believed me. She was nowhere to be found, but she was in the town. Then at night, my town was attacked by an army of spirits and it was all at my fault. If I had known she was in the town, I would have told everyone to evacuate the area and now she would be with me, saying that I, idiot, know nothing about spirits! Before that I never really liked spirits; but after talking with Mara, it is actually not so hard. I made a new friend, towards Mara's House.
Mara: "Of course you would not mind. Everything is behind, you understand what I am saying? I have been living in this world since the beginning of time and I still have not seen the end to it. Many people around the world, even I, believe in the mystical world and believe that we will never see the end of this dream. But sad to say, this is very true. One day, when the sun is swallowed up by the moon and darkness comes over the world, the only Dragon we will see will be mine and only mine. We will see the end of this dream, but we will not be able to stop it."
Helen: "If you believe that then we are both wrong users of the word belief. One cannot find peace and stay forever in that one lie."
Mara: "You were one the one of the strongest users of belief. Were you not a believer in the stone temple?"
Helen: "It is not just me of course, but many others do believe in the stone temple. We believe it is for no good reason, but why fight against it? This is a good place for the dead to be, where is no more pain and can find peace with each other, where they keep in your mind the memories they had with some of their loved ones."
Mara: "The stone temple is not for the dead, but for those who rest. There are many of us who sleep and stay here, as if we were in a peace. I am here, where I know I will never wake up nor give up.
