Hello Hive Fam!
Happy Sunday to all of you and I hope that this weekend is going great for all of you guys whenever you are in this part of the world.
Today I visited my form where there is farming for the tur dal and I did not know the exact English word for this plant so I did some Google search today and I got to know that it is called pigeon pea. Google is helpful tool figure out many things that we are not wear off and today I got to know that tour Dal is called this pigeon pea which is an new learning for me.
I have this crop for pigeon pea in my field and this is a kind of forming that takes long time because the seeds used are not hybrid and it is a natural variety of seed. Hybrid is a variety of seed that is customised through some laboratory experiments properly which I really don't know much in detail but generally the crop grows faster and in 6 to 7 months it can be completed but if we go for the natural variety then it takes about a year because this plantation was done in the month of July and it will get over in the month of May.
It is one of the lentils that I like a lot and it is full of vitamins and very good for the health and generally I prefer to buy the one that is not polished so unpolished lentil is the best to eat and it is very good for the health.
I have done it for the first time so I don't know much about it because generally the kind of crops are done in my fields mostly for the rise and wheat but this time and experiment is done to see how it works. If it works great or the outcome is satisfactory then I'll be doing it more in the next year so far small part of the field it is done and I just hope that whatever is planned and estimated out of the this is going to be achieved.
Farming is not a new thing for me because I have been doing it for a long time but it is mostly for some selected crops like paddy rice wheat and chillies but not for the lentils so that I have done some research on the internet and also was a lot of videos and now I am counting on it to see how it works for me.

I have got the entire field surrounded by the boundary wall and a gate is also installed so that no animal can harm my crop. Generally this crop is damaged by animals like cow and buffalo so to avoid that problem I have spent some money on this work so that my crop it safe from them but I am also trying to be taking care of the part of fertilizers and any medicine that is required keep the plants safe and healthy. Thank you!

Wow, didn’t know you were also in farming! For sure watching something grow and harvest is a very satisfying work.
I have been doing it from last 10 years and you're right that it's a great feeling of something watching to grow and getting ready for harvesting.
Very nice farm.. Where is it. I also have a dream to buy some farm land one day.. Cheers
It's in Uttar Pradesh. Glad to know about your dream and hope you fulfill your dreams soon.
I don't know much about farming, but the plants look vigorous. I hope you'll have a good harvest.
Thanks my friend.
You're right, plants are healthy so good harvest is expected. I am trying to follow all the best practices with my experiments this year.
