Because selling votes gets you way higher rewards than curation and since some people started downvoting those posts and we joined in they've hated the people that made them change into curation, some changed for the better some still hold grudges.
Yes it is and I'm sure he's being well rewarded for his work, but automating posts on top of that for extra rewards is not something I and many others agree with.
I see the point. I've never used any bidbot during my time here on Steem, not even the non-profit ocdb before the HF. Not a big fan of any bidbots myself.
Maybe freedom could also rethink about his business plan, or maybe he don’t even care much about ROI on delegated stake. I don’t know. The whole delegation thing started when vote selling was popular anyway. Just saying, since he’s never spoken out his opinion either.
