  1. No display
  2. The steps that you followed to identify the fault
    • connection of moniter should be checked.
    • Connect speaker and unplug RAM AND start computer
    • Check the RAM on other computer.
    • Check the BIOS chip of motherboard
    • Check the timing and clocking of motherboard.

    The cause of the fault
    • The connection was right.
    • There was no display with beep sound. i.e cause of RAM or Motherboard.
    • The RAM work properly in another computer.
    • The fault is in motherboard.

    The steps taken to remedy the fault
    • Take out BIOS chip and replace it. The problem of computer was solve.

  3. inbuilt USB is not detecting the USB devices
  4. The steps that you followed to identify the fault • Check USB device is detected or not, or virus has cause this. • Check the speed of USB device. • Check the BIOS system of computer. • USB codec may be damaged

    The cause of the fault
    • The USB device is not detected, there is no cause of virus.
    • The speed of USB device is compatible with motherboard.
    • The USB was disabled from BIOS.

    The steps taken to remedy the fault
    • Go to the BIOS setting and enable the USB drive.

  5. Any drive of hard disk does not open and also do not show folder option
  6. The steps that you followed to identify the fault • Restore the computer • If there is problem of virus check group policy

    The cause of the fault
    • No change on the computer after restore.
    • The problem might by virus.

    The steps taken to remedy the fault
    • Go to Run, type ‘gpedit.msc’ and click ok
    • Group Policy will open then go to ‘Windows Explorer’ of Administrative Template of User Configuration.
    • Enable the ‘click on Removes this folder Options menu item from the tools menu’.
    • And also not configured it.
    • The Folder Option will apply.
    • Click on Show all files and Folders
    • Explorer the drive
    • Delete ‘KHA’ and ‘KHQ’ virus and restart the computer.

    • Scan Computer for viruses with updated antivirus software.
    • Check BIOS jumper configuration.
    • CMOS battery of the faulty PC was checked in another working computer.

    Cause of the fault
    • Antivirus program did find some viruses, and cleaned the computer, but after
    • Restarting the problem was not solved.
    • BIOS jumper configuration was fine, connected in first and second pins, for
    • The assurance, connecting the jumper in second and third pins did not work.
    • When the CMOS battery was used in another working computer, then it
    • Showed the same symptom of time resetting.
    • Hence, CMOS battery was dead.

  10. Steps followed to identify the fault • The sound may be disabled from the BIOS setting to check there • Windows error may cause. • The driver CD can also cause the error • Check The sound codec (inbuilt)

    • The sound was enable from the BIOS setting.
    • There was no change after reinstalling the windows
    • There no problem on driver of sound codec.
    • The sound codec (inbuilt) was damaged,

    Steps taken to remedy the fault
    • To solve these problem of sound we need to replace the PCI card.

  12. Steps followed to identify the fault • Open Force Quit Applications • Open task manager • Shut down the computer.

    Cause of the fault
    • Windows does not allow to open Force Quit Applications
    • Open task manager by pressing and holding Ctrl+Alt+Delete on keyboard

    Steps taken to remedy the fault
    • By pressing and holding Ctrl+Alt+Delete on keyboard the Task Manager open.
    • Locate and select Windows Explorer from the Processes tab and
    • Click Restart.

    Success or failure of the repair
    • After the restart, the computer had run properly, hence it was successfully repair.

    Steps followed to identify the fault
    • Whether you have plenty of free space on the hard drive holding your operating system.
    • Check for disk clean up
    • Check for system configuration

    Cause of the fault
    • There was sufficient space on the hard drive holding your operating system.
    • No thing was change on computer by disk clean up.
    • Faulty on system

    Steps taken to remedy the fault
    • Go to run and typing msconfig, and pressing the Enter key.
    • Check the Startup Item and Manufacturer columns which is best way to figure out which potential performance-killers you can safely disable.

  14. Steps followed to identify the fault • Check whether faulty was by virus or not. • Check the monitor on other CPU • Check the video controller from the BIOS. • Replace the driver CD of the graphic and try from another

    Cause of the fault
    • No change on computer by removing virus
    • Monitor was not damage
    • the video controller is enabled from the BIOS
    • fault was on graphic card

    Steps taken to remedy the fault
    • Replacing the VGA solved the problem of red Screen.

    • Scan Computer for viruses with updated antivirus software.
    • Check the time zone.
    • CMOS battery of the faulty PC was checked in another working computer.

    Cause of the fault
    • Antivirus program did find some viruses, and cleaned the computer, but after

    • Time zone setup was according to the standard time zone of our country.
    There was no problem with time zone we can’t find the right solution.
    • We used CMOS battery in another working computer, then it
    Showed the same symptom of time resetting.

    • Hence, CMOS battery was dead.

    Steps taken to remedy the fault
    • CMOS battery of the faulty PC was replaced by the new one.

  17. Auto shutdown the computer after few minutes
  18. Steps followed to identify the fault • Check for dust and replug the component of the motherboard • Update antivirus and scan remove the virus • Manually delete the virus

    Cause of the fault
    • The problem was not solved by cleaning and Repluging component of the motherboard.
    • Time is not enough to update antivirus

    Steps taken to remedy the fault
    • To Avoid auto shutdown the computer got run, type ‘shutdown’
    • To Avoid auto shutdown forever go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\ and delete system.bat and *bat File.
    • Then go to run, type ‘regedit’ and click ok, manually delete the Kinza.exe, IPH.exe named Virus and restart the computer.
