Not seen as many since then there on the Spit.
This was back around when the eagle lady
was feeding them.
Oh my! I can see where she may have created some controversy for feeding Eagles! It sure gave you a great opportunity for photos though.
There was so many eagles in those days, still quite a
few, but not like when she was feeding them. She had
signs saying, stay in your vehicle to take photos.
Folks would get amazing photos without needing to zoom lol
Was she feeding them fish? That would be messy!

Howdy shasta! I thought all the planes in Alaska had those pontoon things on them. Hey that's a great shot of that eagle, how do you tell if it's real old?

puffy tires for landing on those remote gravel bars.
He just looked old to me and the photo is about 13
years old now! :-)
He probably was then and 13 years online is ancient. 3 years online is ancient!
This last day or so was ancient! :-))
