Baiturrahman Great Mosque. The name of this mosque is very legendary in hearts of Acehnese people.
It is a symbol of pride, as well as the most beautiful mosque in Southeast Asia.
Since the last two years, the mosque which was built in 1612 keep preen itself, until finally it looks like as now.
Looked more modern and beautiful. On its marble floor yard, there are 12 electric umbrellas and a fountain pond in the middle of it.
If the mosque is seen at night, it looks so beautiful with color beam.

Baiturrahman Great Mosque also has a vast basement. Its function is for parking lot and wudhuk, and also toilets that is clean and tidy.
From wudhuk place to the top of the page is not difficult because it is equipped with escalator.
Since its face is decorated to be different from what it was, Baiturrahman Great Mosque is now visited by many tourists, from local and abroad.
Besides to worship, the visitors make the mosque yard as a favorite photo spot.

Masjid Raya Baiturrahman. Nama masjid ini amat melegenda di hati rakyat Aceh.
Inilah masjid kebanggaan, sekaligus terindah di Asia Tenggara. Sejak dua tahun belakangan masjid yang dibangun tahun 1612 ini terus bersolek.
Sampai akhirnya seperti yang terlihat sekarang. Semakin modern dan indah.
Di halamannya yang berlantai marmer, ada 12 payung elektrik dan sebuah kolam air mancur di tengahnya.
Kalau dilihat malam hari sungguh sangat indah pancaran warnanya. Masjid Raya Baiturahman juga punya ruang bawah tanah yang luas.
Fungsinya untuk parkir dan tempat wudhuk plus toilet yang bersih dan rapi.
Dari tempat wudhuk menuju ke atas halaman tidak sulit karena sudah dilengkapi eskalator.
Sejak wajahnya berhias ciamik, Masjid Raya Baiturrahman kini banyak dikunnjungi wisatawan. Baik dari lokal, luar kota maupun mancanegara.
Selain untuk beribadah, para pengunjung menjadikan halaman masjid sebagai spot foto favorit.
