It's not until the pain starts that one realises how much we rely on our body parts. I read this with interest as I have plantar fasciitis which hurts like a mofo. I'm doing the exercises and all, wear orthotic insoles and all and remember the good old days of having no foot pain fondly. Days that are long gone.

Feet and ankles exercises, not the walking kind, should be on everyone's to do list - they take a beating! Rubs, massages, and soaks must help a little?
Yeah, I do a few things like that which helps although I could use a few more massages; one can never have enough.
