Btw, Catnip, in addition to those, also acts as a natural repellent for mosquitoes, it having an irritant in it that drives the pests away. Also, catnip mixed with the gel from the aloe plant, whipped to make it into a creamy froth, makes a cooling balm that is an excellent treatment for burns. The catnip in it relieving the itching and ache while the aloe prevents dryness and skin flaking off too badly.
