Carson and Nick made a long eye contact. It felt as if Nick knew what was happening between him and Maggie...but really? The friend for benefits thing was only a week now. Nope, wait, it was less than a week. Only a few days and Maggie had the magic to make Carson feel like shit after he slept with another girl. It was driving him nuts.
The two guys stared at each other, both of them trying to read each others mind. The first time Carson met Nick was in freshman year of high school. Their friendship wasn't the one since they were little babies, but the time they met each other, something clicked and they had a strong bond. They were best friends since then, and having to keep a secret from Nick–and to think it had to do with his sister–made Carson feel uneasy. Friendship was always important to him.
Dean gave John a confused look about his two best friends. John just shrugged.
