But it’s a hard thing to do INKognito. So, as you probably don’t have an INKling about who we are, let us tell you. We're the members of a brand new Discord community--The INKubator--a community run by writers, for writers.
We help one another improve and grow our skills; root for each member of our community in their efforts to get published; and we’re there for chat and consolation when the disappointment of the inevitable rejection letter hits. In short, the members of the INKubator--or INKlings as they’re called--encourage each other in their journeys as writers.
We run a peer review system, focused on fiction and poetry, as well as a writing workshop, called the inkubator. It consists of a series of exercises that focus on one aspect of the craft at a time, allowing writers of all skill levels to consciously practise different facets of the art and craft of writing.
Other than that, there’s also a lot of fun to be had: hanging out and reading each other’s stuff, and sometimes writing through the night while listening to tunes on our music bot. If you work hard, you need to play hard too, right?
