Unfortunately it's been over 48 hours and Vengeance is -still- waiting for approval from the powers that be, begging for permission to be placed on the websites of other retailers. It's never taken this long before.
I've had this post written since I first uploaded the files... and then I waited, and waited...
...I released this book with a week-long discount and I've already wasted two days waiting.

This book is basically a novel-length prologue introducing what was originally going to be a trilogy. It took me a long time to work out if I wanted to publish the prologue first or the actual story first and I finally settled on what introduces it all.
There are bits and pieces scattered throughout the book that will be mentioned, alluded to, and in some cases explained as future books are released. It might seem as though it has a "cliffhanger" for an ending when it's not an ending at all; it's a beginning.
This is a story that began to manifest when I was a child, around 11 years old, and it has evolved, changed several times over, characters have come and gone and their personalities have developed all over the past 20 odd years, and it has resulted in this.
If you've read Half Past the Moonfall, be aware that Vengeance is nothing like that. Moonfall was a comedic, crude and lewd thing that flew out of my head rapid-fire during NaNoWriMo. Vengeance is what I consider the beginning of my life's work. ❤️

Thanks!! 😄 It's been a long time coming! It was supposed to go onto Smashwords and other retailers in January, but Amazon had me remain subscribed to their exclusivity deal without my knowledge. I had both Moonfall and Vengeance on it, and Moonfall left it when it should have but Vengeance did not. So I had to wait an extra three months! Ugh. 😅
Congrats! There are so many details to publishing. I went wide with Draft2Digital, but Smashwords works too. Either way, there is waiting. lol! But it's a big step forward, and something to celebrate! :)

I finally got a response yesterday, after nearly a week of waiting for approval! It was my own fault. I didn't realise that I had to add a ghost account to my profile with my pen name on it and other retailers wouldn't accept it when the book cover had Kaelci as the author but the data had B. M. Matthews.
I've published and re-published a few times on the Smashwords platform and everything has always been finalised within a day so I was horrified that this was taking so long. But at least I know why now and have rectified it. 😅 Whew.
Finally it's here! I'm gonna order it.
