Greetings to all the writers and my fellow Steemians :)

Welcome to the end of the third edition of the fiction writing competition.

Just like the last time the judging process wasn't very difficult because only a few writers took part in the horror-themed writing prompt. Each and every one of them gave me quite the scare with their writing and if I could then I would give them all a reward but sadly at the moment that is quite difficult to do. If you would like to check the stories out then you can find them here. Please don't forget to show them your love as well.

Our pot at the end of the first week of the third edition of fiction writing competition was at 1.420 SBD and the second round added 3.340 SBD to the pot. This brought our pot to a grand total of 4.760 SBD for our lucky winner. I know our second fiction competition was great because of the huge award that the winner got and as we grow we will be able to give out even better rewards to the winner.

What is Fiction Competition?

If you would like to learn more about fiction competition then you can do so by visiting this link. It will only take you a few minutes to get acquainted with it. I am still planning on how to revise the competition and make it better so that more and more authors will be rewarded for their efforts but that will take me some time sadly. :( If you would like to help you can do so by donating some to the reward pot.

Fiction Comp #3 - Winner:

The story that won this round of the competition and scared a bunch of people while at it is What Mr. Mendes Saw by @tanglebranch with a total of 8 votes. @tanglebranch gives us quite the scary with his well crafted plot. A psychologist tries to find out the truth behind what transpired with her patient. If you haven't read it yet then please do so.

Congratulations on winning the third edition of the fiction writing competition with your horror-themed story @tanglebranch. You deserve this reward :)

To all the participants thank you for taking part in this round of the competition and I hope that each and every one of them had great fun working with the prompt provided. I will be taking a short break as usual :P while I think up a new prompt to test your mettle. I will be back with one by the 3rd of December. So please do look forward to it and thank you all for your support.

Let's do our best to keep supporting the competition and writers and make this as huge as possible. See you all soon and much love to you all folks <3

Thanks so much for putting this on @kyrios! This was a good exercise for me, to write outside my usual genre, and also to write something short... I usually think in longer form than a shirt story can contain. Looking forward to next time!!

Congratulations mate. You really deserve the reward and thanks for taking the time to write something short. The plot you devised kept me awake at night and I was scared to even look at people for a while ahaha.
