Who can settle the disbute between Hens and Eagles

Have you ever why Eagles usually steal Hen's chick ?

I was on my way home today. When i came across a hen with his little chick standing right be side her, suddenly an eagle flying above the hen and her chick came down slowly looking for a medium to capture the little chick.

The eagle and hen wrestled for almost 30 minutes. I was standing and watching like an eavesdrop professor who his trying to figure out something. The eagle won the fight and then the eagle carried away the little chick, the hen was busy roaming around looking for a medium to get to the sky but it was impossible.

I felt pity for the Hen, how wish the hen had wings to fly like that of birds, the eagle will get back her little chick.

I got home and asked my Granny why "do hen and eagle wrestle mostly because of chick".
She came up with a fabulous story, she started with a jokes which began like a silent chuckle, then slowly turned into a mirthful but stilted giggle which later transformed into a full fledged chortle.

"Hens and Eagles", are a very nice friends in the animal kingdom. One day famine arose suddenly like a terrible wind in the birds kingdom, different categories of bird began to attack each other one by one. Other birds usually call Hen a traitor because of the fact that she can fly so high like other birds so they categories Hen as beast to other birds clans but only Eagle accepted Hen as a true friend.

Eagle decided to went hunting with other birds to hunt down ants for food. Eagle went and give Hen her children for shelter and protection. Eagle came back from hunting and she found Hen eating her children, Eagle felt heart broken she then promised and made a curse that all her generation will continue to kill all Hen's grand children.

My Granny ended the fabulous story like that, I laughed and laughed and said granny those are jokes right ?, She didn't reply me she went straight forward to her room.

Who can settle the disbute between Hens and Eagles ? Any one or any animal ?

I guess no one can settle it, so it will gonna continue like that forever and forevermore.
