I don't care if I know they're going to come back, I think watching/realising my little mates just freaking died in there (again) would be as harrowing every subsequent time as the first time because WHAT IF THEY RESPAWN IN THE WRONG NEST/WITHOUT SOME CRITICAL MEMORIES THIS TIME.
And yeh listening to babies giving detailed hazard and time of death reports would definitely be something XD
Yeah I can see some Humans getting disturbed and inventing the equivalent of the canary resuscitation device. Alas, I can see other Humans getting numb to this and treating Kobolds as conveniently expendable.
Given that this is MY world, the former wins out.
You could have some of the latter, people apparently still like seeing themselves represented after all, and everyone else disliking them might then give them a clue XD
