The 2018 FIFA world cup has already been extremely unpredictable. We have seen so many games where the game went against the favourites. This happened in the group stages which saw the demise of the previous champions, Germany. With Germany out, no one expected much change or deviation in the world cup. However, as the round of 16 started, the very first shocker was Portugal's loss against Uruguay. Even though Portugal played the better game, they were still out done.
However, the biggest shocker of the round of 16 is the exit of Spain. Spain played a completely dominating game against Russia and ended up losing in penalties. As the football fever catches on, we are in for a roller coaster ride this world cup.
