The Arizona Case Files
The Stepford Wives (2004)
After hot shot TV executive Joanne is fired her family movie to the idealic town of Stepford. A town where all the women are the embodiment of the perfect 50's housewife, but all is not as perfect as it seems.
I remember watching this when it first came to DVD, and not thinking much of it, but Mrs Arizona saw it Netflix and wanted to watch it. I definitely found it more entertaining this time round, but it's still not good, and as a more mature viewer I actually found it quite distasteful. Rather than being replaced, as in the original novel/movie, the women are cyberneticly altered, becoming domestic and sexual slaves without any sense of their former selves...but it's ok though...it's a comedy.
Rewatch: 2 Doughnuts
