Godzilla: King of the Monsters 3D (2019)
Eco terrorists want to restore balance to the planet so release a load of planet smashing titans to see if they'd be any good at the job? Spoiler...they are not, so supervisor Godzilla is called into hand out disciplinaries!
Characters and character motivations are the biggest problem I have with this movie and how serious everyone is, come on you're in a Godzilla movie!

Sully: Miracle on the Hudson a.k.a. Sully (2016)
Cowboy director Clint Eastwood directs this true story of Chelsea "Sully" Sullen Berger and how he got his nickname. The B plot sees how this hero landed a passenger plane on the Hudson River. When casting a humble hero the first person you should always go to is Tom Hanks and as always he makes you believe he could land a plane no problem even to the point when at the end of the film you see the real Sully and its a bit of a letdown!
Thrilling and inspiring.

Knives Out (2019)
When the head of a well to do family is found dead, a murder investigation is carried out to see which family member did it?
"Deliciously entertaining" is the best way to describe Rian Johnson's latest. A fun cast delivers snappy dialogue in a fun filled old fashioned who dunnit. Get your money out for this one!

The Arizona Case Files
Zootropolis (2016)
A bunny with big dreams hits the big city to join the force, and teams up with a con artist to solve a multiple missing person's case and a conspiracy that goes right to the top.
This is the third time I've watched this now, and I think I've enjoyed it more with each viewing. It's the quality of animation you'd expect from Disney, but it's also a great detective story, with heart, jokes, and important life lessons.

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019)
A cynical investigative magazine journalist is sent on assignment to do a puff piece on Fred Rogers but really wants to get the dark and gritty expose on the nicest man on television. But when the man is made of light, some of that will be reflected back and help you in your own life..
This wasn't the typical biopic that I was expecting but once I settled in to it the story was a heart warmer.

The Arizona Case Files
Fighting with My Family (2019)
The story of Saraya Knight, who despite being brought up in a wrestling family, had no interest in the profession until she had to fill in one day as a teen. After that she was hooked, and became one of WWE's brightest young stars.
Being a wrestling nerd I was excited for this, and glad it didn't suck, so as soon as it hit Netflix a rewatch was inevitable, and it was just as enjoyable second time around.

Uncut Gems (2019)
The Safdie brothers follow up to Good Time may be even greater! Adam Sandler in a career defining role plays a New York jeweller who is always on the verge of a big score, but past and present losses are never far behind looking to be payed.
This film has a great rhythm to it and will go down as one of this year's finest, that's a safe bet!

Spider-Man: Far From Home 3D (2019)
Enjoyed this so much more on a rewatch and the home 3D is probably the best I've seen.
