How to Make Money online by self publishing romance ebooks - even if you are not a writer

Yes it can be done!

I have been self publishing on many different platforms for over 6 years. I started with publishing only on the Kindle platform but later on figured there is too much risk in putting all my eggs in one basket, and decided to go wide. I now use pronoun.com to list my books on multiple platforms (apple, ibooks, kobo. nook, kindle etc).

I will just go right ahead and try to explain how I do it, as concisely as possible.

First of all, you do your niche research. Romance, Sci-fi, Thriller etc. You can just go to the kindle store and look at the best sellers to try and gauge what is selling well. The lower the Best Sellers rank, the better the book is selling.

Always make a note of how the covers and titles are like. You want to emulate the best sellers here, not copy them, but emulate!

After your research, you use 2 sites. One to hire writers from and one where you will be ordering covers from.

Upwork.com is a great site to hire writers from. You post a job saying, for example, you are looking for writers to write a 3 part love story (don't mention book, sounds like a huge project) You want to write in series of at least 3 books. The pay is usually 1c a word, so for a book of 50,000 words, it will be $500.

You want to have the first book "permafree" or free for life, to use as a lead magnet that leads people to buy the rest of the books in the series. Make is 30,000 words and free and price the rest at $2.99.

At the end of each book, always ask the reader to leave an honest feedback and ask them to support you buy reading the next book in the series. It helps big time!

Give your writer at least 3-4 months to complete the project and have them proofread their own work. Do a quick plagiarism check before you pay them.

While your writer is busy writing, go to fiverr.com and search fora cover designer. There are many. After you find a suitable one, give them direction or show them samples of what you want and order. I never pay for than $10 for a cover.

After you get back the work from your writer and cover designer, it's time to upload them on pronoun and run some promos to get the word out. Go to bookclicker.com and sign up for free. You can then ask fellow authors/publishers to send your free book to their email list of hungry readers. In the meantime, look into how you can grow a fan following of your own.

Using some paid promos ever month also helps you books big time. I always only promo my free book (which has a hook at the end) to lead readers to buy the rest of the books in the series. I also recommend this free ebook on kindle http://amzn.to/2xrQdfO

Some sites I use are:

https://robinreads.com/author-signup/
https://www.freebooksy.com/freebooksy-feature-pricing/ (my fav)
http://ereadernewstoday.com/bargain-and-free-book-submissions/
http://www.genrepulse.com/
http://shamelessbookclub.com/

Keep in mind some of them will require you have some positive reviews to feature your book.

That's it, it's as simple as that to making $100 a day. It does take a bit of time and effort to get started but this is a very effective way of becoming financially free in less an a year.

Results are obviously not typical and you do get back what you put in, and you need some money to get started as well, just like any real business.

Hopefully this info will come in handy for many of you and hopefully a lot of you will take ACTION after reading this. It all comes down to taking action, keep that in mind!
