I would say Yes I have access to more "things" but those things are of much lower quality than the items in the past. So not only do we have inflation but we have degradation of quality and these go hand-in-hand. It is all part of a plan.
Good go investing in real things especially land. If you upgrade your land that asset will increase in value that will last near a lifetime.
