It's just a sad part of life. The rich get richer, while the poor get poorer. I find that the rich just seem to have the connections, and these connections lead them to more opportunities or even laws that benefit them more.

Yeah, they keep the connection within themselves and just use it to keep increasing their opportunities and leveraging while keeping the circle even smaller. It's a crazy thing.
