Introducing my first post with the new tags created by @krazypoet and @tattoodjay
I'm sure this will be the first of many entries with a 'Funky' look as I do enjoy the creative buzz I get from transforming an original photo into something surreal, abstract and contemporary. For those of you who have not yet dabbled in editing to this extent, I encourage you to, "Find Your Funky!"
This beautifully shaped tree is a Mangrove tree. It is one of thousands situated in the salty shores and coastlines all around Australia. In fact, over 11,000 kilometres of mangrove dense areas cover about 18% of the coastline, giving Australia the title of third largest area of mangroves in the world. Indonesia and Brazil are first and second largest.
About 75% of Australia’s mangrove areas is situated in the humid, tropical parts of the north where human population is low. Australia is the world’s driest inhabited continent and Mangroves survive well in sheltered areas on numerous islands and mainland enclaves. Mangroves are unique in their ability to adapt to tidal, silty areas. They love habitats with abundant plant diversity but they currently face the challenges of a rapidly changing, dynamic world and are therefore vulnerable to the changes which are taking place within their environment.

That's ok......I just thought I'd double check. I put the wrong tag in to begin with and I can't get rid of it and so the post header doesn't have #funkyedits in it. I will be more careful next time. (:
Hey its all good. I think putting it as anytag is fine until we start a contest or specific relation to the tag for that to be a requirement. Just have fun that is the key...

Human social and economic activity give pressure to environment. Its ability is tested to overcome these challenge which is The Carried capacity to handle these pressure. disaster occurs due to the lack of awareness in observing the phenomena..
Very true @bagindooo Awareness is the first step. Following through with how to keep a healthy balance is the next step. 😆

I think you have a different tag than the others @trudeehunter. I just checked @krazypoet and he's using #funkyedits. You might want to check so you'll be with all your people.

See? I can be funky in a different way :) lol You're welcome. I hate it when I put in the wrong tag too. So I figured you'd want to know. I'm going to give it a go with one of my photos and see what I can come up with. I have a 3D layer I have been wanting to try so ....it will give me something to do tonight.
Your help was much appreciated. I find that when I have to adjust the tag names, I am then limited to just 4 for some reason, but it's still better to have the right tag. Cant wait to see your first funky post.
It's unfortunate that the first one can't be changed. What I do is I use photofeed as my first when I'm posting photography and anything after that can be fixed.

Can I do something like this in LightRoom?? I'm not good at Photoshop yet, although I could learn. I'm kind of bored anyway and need a new focus. ;)
I don't have lightroom but two of my favourite free photo editing sites which have a wide variety of funky filters etc are Prisma Photo Edits and Lunapic Editor I will warn you though......it does become a little addictive. If you google free photo edits you will come up with many to choose from. I will look out for your first post.
