I think this is such an important topic to bring up. I took pediatric CPR certification a while back because I often babysit for family and friends, and it really gave me a lot more confidence in case something unexpected happens. What helped me most was the hands-on practice they walked us through real scenarios like choking or sudden breathing issues, which made me realize how quickly things can escalate with children. Even though I’ve never had to use it in a real emergency, just knowing I have that knowledge makes me feel better prepared. It’s definitely something I’d recommend to anyone who spends time around kids.
