Is the King like a president or is he just a figure of tradition?
its strange. he grants the parliament below him power to operate as ordained by the votes of the people as a kind of gesture from god. he can dissolve parliament and overrule them, but im not sure if that has ever happened. Parliament has been dissolved in the past however, but id have to look more into the reason / outcomes.
