Prediction markets have renamed their terminology to help them get around legal gambling definitions in the United States.
Prediction markets however need insider trading in order for them to make a market and make the "prediction" accurate.
There is a significant moral conundrum here, and one which may have laws passed against it, if only the profits werent so sweet.
someone on Polymarket even knew that Nicolas Maduro would be captured by the USA govt, just before it happened, netting them 100's of thousands of dollars.
it is said that this is a moral move in order to make the prediction market more accurate.... this is just flat out wrong, isnt it?....
