As a Filipino citizen and citizen of a democratic country, I have the right to vote and to choose the official who will lead the country. We need to make the voting process a crucial step toward a better future by aiming to vote for candidates with high intellectual capacity and moral values. I'm a first-time voter, and here is my experience when I get my first vote. My mother helps members to familiarise themselves with the candidates that I love to vote for. We need to vote wisely to choose which candidates we vote for because this depends on our future. I am easily distracted by their pitiful and creative slogans for that particular candidate to stand by his or her words because I'm a first-time voter. My mother assisted me where my name room was assigned to vote. My first experience of voting was successful because I know I chose the right candidate.
