The Hobie Pro Angler is the Mercedes of kayaks.
It is one of the most expensive kayaks out there that doesn’t have a motor, and that is for good reason!
The 14 foot long Hobie is almost the size of a John boat. You can easily stand up on the kayak and keep your balance. This makes kayak fishing more practical and more comfortable.
There are plenty of places to store your tackle and accessories for the trip out on the water.
You can even install a livewell or a fish finder! With that and the improved portability of kayak fishing, one can be an unstoppable force on the water with the Hobie.
You paddle with your feet and it feels similar to a bicycle. You steer with a level controlled rutter to the right hand side of the kayak.
This kayak is highly recommend for any avid fisherman that wants to take kayak fishing seriously!

Nice yak. The only downside I've heard of is that these are pretty heavy. What does it weigh?
They make trailers for them also. I used to get quite a workout lifting my 80+ pound native watercraft manta ray over my head to get it on my car.
It’s between 85-95 pounds. That is definitely the only downside to this kayak, and the fact that you can’t really pedal backwards to go against the wind or the current of a river.
The stability/room/feel is unmatched, but the price tag is very hefty and only worth it for avid kayak fishermen.
My brother has a native with the reverse function bicycle-like pedals and he loved it!
