
So how do we fish in Phoenix (in the city)? Well... we fish in the canals. Phoenix has over 130 miles of water canals to bring water to the residents and farmers.
Here is a video of my son catching a White Amur (carp from China). The White Amur fish eat the weeds and algae in the canals and keep them clean! So the city intentionally stocks the canals with the White Amur. We put the fish back in the canal after we caught him.
We used corn kernels as bait.
