Grandfather's methods of fishing: effective, but forgotten ...

Have you ever heard of fishing for a button? On fried sand? And on the brick? Do you know what an underwater wreath is or what kind of bait it was fishing for 70 to 100 years ago. And after all our grandfathers were fishermen not hardly worse than modern amateurs to fish, if not better.
On brick
Previously, a porous red brick was cooked in a vat in the garden, various scented herbs (mint, dill, celery, oregano, parsley, anise, hemp, etc.) were thrown at him. As the water boils away, again you need to throw the grass, add water and cook for a long time, until the brick
will be soaked completely with the aromas of herbs. After you need to get a brick, and while it's hot, pour it with vegetable oil. The oil must be homemade, rustic, with the smell of sunflower seeds.
Upon arrival for fishing, this brick was thrown instead of complementary food into the water. Fish come to smells, exuded by a brick, and throw the bait closer to him. The brick works for a long time.
On fried sand
Strikingly effective bait is obtained from roasted sand. To this end, you need to burn sand in a large frying pan, in which to add vegetable oil (again, natural, homemade), as well as to add all sorts of natural flavors to the sand. This can be parsley, dill, the same anise, hemp, etc. etc. Sand also works for a long time: 2 - 3 days.
On the button

The button is often caught by carp and wild carp, it is possible to catch thick-fangs and bream. At the end of the line, attach the bait, the role of which can be a piece of cake or a crust of bread, and a little higher on another leash mount a flat small button. This technique is based on the fact that carp, swallowing a treat, will swallow a button with it. And ... after a while, of course, spit it out, because it is inedible. But the fact is that the fish does not spit the button through the mouth, but through the gills. Passing through the dense slot of the gill cover, the button will reliably hold the fish on the leash. The fisherman will only drag the carp to the shore and enjoy the success.
Secret bait of grandfathers
Fishermen 100 years ago had their catching bait, which few people today remember. For example, the tail of a small crustacean - a nozzle for catching carp in reed thickets at the end of summer.
Strips of fresh squid and fresh shrimps - a delicacy from which will not refuse any pike perch, even during the uttermost besklevya in the summer heat.
Juice from thawed squid, fresh chicken liver raw ground minced - catching impregnation for puffin when catching pikeperch.
Gutted from the captured pike and thrown into the water - 100% guarantee that within 30-40 it will be possible to catch the predator that has come to this aroma.
Underwater Wreath
On lakes, where the bottom is mostly pebbles or sand, in the absence of vegetation, early in the spring, you need to tie wreaths from pine branches. The diameter of each should be about 2 to 3 meters. Wreaths are tied with ropes, fasten sinkers and flood in the place of fishing. With the onset of spawning, fish sail here for this purpose. They spawn in this "garden", and then keep themselves close to it during the whole summer. Here their offspring, their home native. Therefore, predatory fish will also hunt near the underwater wreaths.
