There is no way to destroy the system. It may lose value, it may become smaller, it may even become less reliable. But as long as there are 21 people willing to run a witness node, the steem blockchain will keep chugging along.
Can you imagine a social media platform with drama + money. This thing is going to be awesome and I got front row tickets.
It will put all those twitter disagreements to shame
