Hello everyone, I have decided to participate in the contest sponsored by @flamingirl in which he asks us to create a logo based on his name which refers to the flamingo bird, I am from venezuela so I am familiar with this bird because in our plains and lakes it is common to see them.
For those who do not know, the pink color of the flamingos is not from birth. At birth the plumage of these birds is white, gray and even brown. Only in his adult age his plumage is dyed pink. Its color is due to the intake of crustaceans and algae that form the basis of your diet.
Thanks to the fact that I am the father of a girl I have had the guide and the necessary point of view to make my design, although it was not necessary according to the terms of the contest, I have also made a cover and a banner to complement the logo design.
I hope you like it @flamingirl, thank my daughter since my point of view at first was focused on this subject. I guess I was influenced by my fanaticism to this anime XD

I'm just new to graphics designing and animations. I just started my journey to this field last March 2018. I slowly love this thing that's why I joined logo contests like this. Joining this kind of contests will also boost my knowledge ans skills to this field. This may not be the best but I really did my best for it to look good, hahahha:)

⚠Je tiens à dire avant de commencer ce post..... ⚠
Je suis un désastre informatique!!!! Je n'y connais vraiment rien, mais j'essaye de m'améliorer! Je me sens très timide de poster ses propositions qui font très enfantines et maladroites comparé aux autres entrées. Mais la honte n'a jamais tué personne et au final ca m'aide à m'améliorer et effectivement, j'ai découvert pleins de choses. J'ai dessiné mon flamand rose et transférer sur l'ordinateur. Quelle découverte!!!😲😲😲
@flamingirl pour ses bannières j'ai créé un petit flamand rose que je voulais mignon un peu comme un pokemon. Au final, je trouve qu'il ressemble plus a un angrybird looool . La première photo est ma préférée. C'est la dernière que j'ai créée tout simple avec ton nom, des petits cœurs.♥ Pour les autres, je trouve que la citation "live laugh and love " te représente tellement bien. Car à mes yeux, c'est vraiment savoir apprécier le bon coté de la vie et je trouve que ça reflète tes posts. Pour la dernière, j'avais envie de faire un petit mix de choses que l'on retrouve sur tes posts, du voyage du bien-etre des petites recettes saine, des photos. Voilou, j'espère que ça te plaît😊😊

I made a digital painting of flamingoes in a circular pattern. Since @flamingirl wants a flamingo in the design, I added a lot. I also added to name flamingirl in the circular pattern and the Steem logo as well - modified with a pink colors of different shades.
Overall, this design can serve as a logo or a thumbnail since it has a circular pattern. It can also be used and modified to a thumbnail.
Programs Used - Corel Draw X8 and Adobe Photoshop CS8

And without further adieu, I open my laptop and go to photoshop to create my design...
The idea of design is to combine the flamingo and the steem old logo since the new one is on copyright. So, I came up with these...

I made a simple design but suits what the host want. I put a flamingo head and I made the steem old logo as the wings of it. Then I added the text using flamingo font that I downloaded to the internet. And that's it! :)

Hello @flamingirl I am not that much good at designing things, hope you will love it.
I was going through my feed and suddenly your blog caught my eye, 50 steem to the winner, I thought I must give it a try, I started designing things here on steemit otherwise I didn't knew anything about designing. I have gave my best in it, hope you will like it. In this design I used pink flamingo, as you have said, I don't know what do they symbolise, I even googled for it but I didn't got a relevant answer, hope you will let me know what pink flamingo's symbolise. I used a lot of things usually girls are found of like nail paint, their nails, their hair, mirror, lipstick and comb.
Well Pink colour signifies a lot, a delicate color that means sweet, cute, romantic, nice, charming, feminine, playful and tenderness. It is a colour that signifies love. I respect the choice you have made regarding the colour of flamingo. I also loved your idea of combining flamingo and steemlogo. Hope I will win the contest.
