Lisa Blair debunks Flat Earth

in #flatearth7 years ago (edited)

There is still a growing number of people on the internet calling themselves "Flat Earthers" or "Truthers".

"Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat."

but of course we know that the Earth is in fact a globe shape, right?

The Flat Earth conspiracy has been growing rapidly for a number of years now, and as a result there are many flat earth channels across YouTube amassing thousands of views and followers.

Earlier today, Lisa Blair arrived back in Australia thus completing her journey sailing all around Antarctica. So if we can just stop for a minute to consider the distance she sailed, it completely debunks the flat earth model.

The total distance was 19934.7 nautical miles, which works out to be roughly 36919 km or 22940 miles.

Now if the earth was flat, this would surely mean an even bigger achievement because she would have had to travel a far more greater distance.

i wish the flat earth conspiracy had never come to me.jpg

Conspiracy theorists have the choice of accepting this new information or they will refuse to acknowledge it, or deny it as being the truth and likely say it was hoaxed, CGI or whatever.
