Hibiscus 🌺
In the Philippines, it is called Gumamela.
I lived in the province of Jaen, Nueva Ecija and during Elementary days, me and my friends walked from our house to the school since means of transportation is so hard in our municipality.
And one of the famous flowers planted along the road is Hibiscus. Since Philippines is a tropical country, Hibiscus is a wonderful flower perfect in the roads of Nueva Ecija.
Aside from beautifying the backyard, it's sweet nectar tastes good too.
But, some people make a tea from Hibiscus flower. They said, it is a good source of relief from high blood pressure and high cholesterol level. And some people treated digestive and immune system and inflammatory problem by drinking Hibiscus tea. Also helps to cure liver disease and prevents from cancer.
I haven't try it yet. But looking forward in tasting it in the future.
