I went to a mountain full of beautiful flowers!
That day was July 29th!
The rainy season has been long in Japan this year, so it was relatively cool that day
I walked there for a while because I didn't know which part of the mountain had the flowers I wanted to see
↑Those red flowers I wanted to see, but they weren't in bloom much↓
They are blooming a bit, but in small numbers... am I in the wrong season?🤔
There were cicada shells on the leaves↓
Little pretty purple flowers😀↓
And I found a sign for where the flowers I want to see are blooming!
Little by little the red flowers are increasing!
Finally I found a place with lots of red flowers!
But it was already evening that day, so my camera couldn't capture them in their exact beauty!
So I'll post an adjusted picture! I've adjusted them to be true to the color of the real thing↓
Wow! beautiful!!
The name of the flower is "Kitsune no kamisori"!
It blooms on all the slopes of the mountain!
That flower blooms a lot on this mountain every year
And a lot of cicadas were singing here😀🎶

Such a lovely trail you have featured here. Gorgeous flowers! Speaking of cicadas, I remember walking past a huge plot in the suburban outskirts of Tokyo on the way to the subway and the always present sound of cicadas were a nice sound to listen to. Sometimes, it was combined with the passing of the shinkansen in the nearby track.
Yeah! This place is really beautiful!
Yeah there are many cicadas in Tokyo, but this cicadas here are not in Tokyo. This cicada is only in places with a lot of nature😊
Tokyo is always a noisy place for me so I wouldn't go…haha😆
