This is one of my dreams. We'll see how it suits me as I have always just been a urban dweller and never had land or plants or animals to think of. (well, i did have a dog)
The whole idea of 'modern' farming never made sense to me. i mean, why would u BUY feed? Dont the animals just eat plants.. which can be grown ON the land?
This makes sense and seems like the smart way nature is supposed to work..

So nice, Boss! It's such a self-sufficient backyard. 😍
😉
Sometimes I feel we've become disconnected from many of these relationships and instead buy solutions that were once simply part of a larger system. The more you do yourself, the more you begin to understand how surprisingly simple and elegant some things actually are.

Lol, Nope! I remember visiting my Uncle's farm and being chased by an adult turkey was an absolute horror. Now, I'm gonna cook fried chicken and eat it right in front of those chickens—just a subtle reminder not to mess with me. 😅
