Good Morning hive fam, so what's the plan? Well, it's quite exciting.. I will move to philippines.. a whole nother country, but not foreign.. not to me. I am quite in luv with the people and the vibe of PH.. even the weather and the food, which took some time to get used to. :P
See, I lived there for about 2 years back in 2003 when I went there to get married to my x wife. We lived in quezon city, metro manila, for most of that time, but did move to cebu (the middle island of PH) also. After she got her usa visa, we moved to cali.
We returned to PH in 2017.. to bulacan, where her sister lived. My x donated a kidney to her sister and also we wanted our kids to get some dose of the filipino culture. we lived there for about 2 years and then moved back to quezon city. I found steemit that time. I even got the wife to join.
Fast forward to today.. after covid chased me back to hawaii, and after a long divorce time, I find myself living here with my mom and aunt and uncle. (it's my aunt's house) things are good from a do i have what i need to live and get by just watching movies and the occasional outing with the old folks, but i do long to get on with my life and get to philippines where i really feel called. what exactly does the future hold for me? well, thats the exciting part too. i am not too sure, but i feel ready and willing to go take on whatever..

Ideally, go when you have 6 months to a year of living expenses in the bank as an emergency fund in case you can't find a way to earn something when you're there. That's just standard advice that you get when you're making a big move, may or may not apply to your situation. Wishing you all the best!
