Aeon Long Bien in Long Bien district, Hanoi is a shopping center and it's also a center of culinary delights.
Among the countless culinary shops, the sushi shop stands out with thousands of delicious dishes for sushi and kimbab enthusiasts. It can be said that this is a food paradise and I want to buy everything I see.
Upon stepping into the sushi shop at Aeon Long Biên, one is immediately greeted by the vibrant colors and enticing aromas of freshly prepared sushi and kimbab. I came here on King Hung's death anniversary, which is a very big holiday for Vietnamese people to commemorate kings who have contributed to the country. On this day children are off school so everyone lets their children go out to play. Because of the hot weather, shopping centers are the best choice for families with young children. This place has a food court with hundreds of types of noodles, traditional rice, Korean rice, fried chicken, sushi, cakes, milk tea, desserts and snacks, etc. However, What impressed me most was the long row of delicious sushi on sale. You will be overwhelmed by the colorful sushi and kimbab sold here. I wanted to eat them all, all the sushi was beautiful and tasted delicious.
From salmon roll sushi, to seaweed roll sushi, salmon egg roll sushi, crab egg roll sushi,... everything is delicious.The ingredients made here are completely fresh because this place is close to where salmon and crab are sold, fresh ingredients for making sushi so don't worry about its quality. If you want to try each piece of sushi you can buy individual, which costs about $0.4-0.50 each. Or you can order a meal for 2 people like mine for about $7.My meal includes rice balls rolled with seaweed and salmon, seaweed rice rolls with crab roe, salmon slices rolled with rice, and crispy fried salmon. I like the salmon kimbab with egg, cucumber, crab rolled inside rice, covered with seaweed and fish roe.These sushi rolls are dipped in wasabi sesame sauce, which is really delicious and kids love it.
This sushi counter also sells many types of salads such as sea grape salad, tuna salad, seafood salad, vegetable salad, etc. I chose a tuna salad, this meal includes tuna, sweet corn, lettuce, eggs, cherry tomatoes, carrots, olives, and roasted sesame dressing. A pretty healthy meal because it has lots of vegetables and little fat. If you can't eat raw salmon, you can order cooked salmon sushi or grilled eel sushi, this dish is super delicious and has a unique taste.
After eating all the sushi and salad, I still felt hungry, so I ordered another bowl of Korean spicy seafood noodles. A full bowl as shown in the picture costs $2.20, including squid, kimchi, fish balls, sausages, this dish is super spicy, the delicious sweet and sour broth stimulates the tongue. Overall the food is not cheap but it is delicious and very eye-catching. The seating here is also spacious and can seat more than 100 people, however because yesterday was a holiday, the seats were full. There are chopsticks, spoons, plastic bags, straws, napkins... diners can take and serve themselves. If you want to heat up food, you can put your food in the microwave yourself. In short, after paying, you need to serve yourself.I had to wait 30 minutes for my turn to pay, proving that sushi and sashimi are always attractive dishes for everyone.
