Earlier in 2011 and then, CNN released rendang as the best food in the world ranked 11. This year, CNN Travel re-released the 50 most delicious food and terrific first position occupied by rendang.
As quoted from CNN Travel, rendang is chosen as the most delicious food in Indonesia after voting from over 35 thousand voters who are CNN readers.
Voting itself is done through the leading social media today is Facebook. In the post, CNN also released 50 most delicious food in the world other than rendang.

In his review, rendang is a typical Indonesian food served for ceremonial occasions and to welcome honorable guests.
Rendang itself is processed beef boiled with coconut milk and a mixture of lemongrass, galangal, garlic, turmeric, ginger and chili. This boiling process takes a long time to make this delicious and flavorful beef dish.
